Nathan Aherne

Nathan Aherne

Co-Founder

I have been enthralled with technology and its boundless possibilities for as long as I can remember. Making technology available to non technical people is a huge passion of mine. As I come from a family of business people, it was almost a foregone conclusion that I would mix business with technology. I started my first company at 22 and since then have started or run companies in many different industries until my vision and passion for Vuid came to fruition. I started Reddog Technology with Jason Rudolph in 2005, which quickly grew to become a national and then an international organization. I was listed in the Smart Company Hot 30 in 2009 which was coincidently the year Jason and I started developing what would become Vuid.

Jason Rudolph

Jason Rudolph

Co-Founder

Since my teenage years I have always been passionate about new ideas and things that change the way we live. After obtaining an undergraduate degree (and later a postgraduate Masters) and working for a large corporate company I decided the time had come to act on my passion. I co-founded Reddog Technology with Nathan Aherne in 2005 to fulfil this passion and utilize my skills and experience in technology and business. It was blatantly obvious to us when it came to IT requirements very few business systems existed to best implement technology efficiently in an organization. Since 2005 we have created and delivered high quality business systems to both private and public companies using technology as the key driver.

Over the past 12 years I have built a career from my passion for technology, the web and making stuff. Before joining the Vuid team, I co-founded the Symphony CMS open source project. This has given me the opportunity to work on high profile projects for BBC, Virgin, MTV and other international brands. If I'm not building digital things, then I am most likely designing boardgames, playing them, or planning my next CNC build.
